Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Test Analyst to lead our quality assurance initiatives. You will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to define test strategies, build scalable test automation frameworks, and guarantee the successful delivery of high-quality software. You will also mentor junior team members and champion continuous improvement in our testing methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Test Strategy & Planning: Develop, document, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on complex business requirements.

• Automation & Technical Testing: Design, build, and maintain robust test automation frameworks. Perform API testing, backend/database validation, and integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines

• Defect Management: Identify, log, and track defects through their lifecycle. Perform root cause analysis and work with engineering teams to ensure timely resolution.

• Risk Assessment: Proactively identify project risks, assess testing impacts, and formulate mitigation strategies.

• Mentorship & Leadership: Guide and mentor junior QA analysts, review their test scripts, and assist the Test Manager/Lead with resource allocation

• Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a bridge between technical and business teams, facilitating User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and reporting on test metrics.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 to 8 years of dedicated software testing experience

• Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress). Strong knowledge of API testing tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured) and SQL for database validation.

• Methodologies: Proven track record of working in Agile/Scrum environments and DevOps practices.

• Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities. Robust oral and written communication skills to articulate complex issues to non-technical stakeholders.
