The VP – Legal & Compliance will build and lead a global legal function for a fast‑growing SaaS platform, advising the CEO, Board and senior leaders on contracts, governance, privacy, IP and risk. The role blends strategic counsel with hands‑on execution of commercial, regulatory and M&A matters.

What You'll Likely Work On

• Design and operate a scalable global legal infrastructure, including contract templates, approval workflows and KPIs
• Draft, negotiate and manage enterprise SaaS, licensing, partnership and vendor agreements while minimizing commercial risk
• Lead corporate governance, board processes, statutory filings and secretarial duties for all Group entities
• Build and maintain the Group’s privacy program, covering GDPR, CCPA, India’s DPDP Act and overseeing the DPO function
• Develop and execute IP strategy, manage patents, trademarks, copyrights and open‑source compliance
• Oversee litigation, disputes and external counsel, optimizing legal spend across multiple jurisdictions
• Support M&A activities, from due diligence through post‑transaction integration and corporate restructuring
• Partner with senior leadership to embed legal risk management into business decisions and drive compliance awareness

Good Fit If You Have

• 12–18 years of senior in‑house legal leadership, preferably in a global SaaS or technology business
• Experience building or scaling an in‑house legal function
• Fluency in French or experience working with European regulators is a strong advantage
