Ovii's Interpretation of the Role

Airbound seeks a UAV Pilot to operate its hybrid VTOL drones for delivery missions across India. The role includes full flight‑cycle checks, regulatory compliance, coordination with ground teams, and continuous improvement of SOPs.

Role Snapshot

What You'll Likely Work On

  • Operate Airbound’s indigenous hybrid VTOL UAV fleet for delivery missions and test flights
  • Conduct detailed pre‑flight, in‑flight, and post‑flight checks
  • Execute missions in compliance with DGCA regulations and internal safety protocols
  • Maintain accurate flight logs, incident reports, and aircraft maintenance schedules
  • Coordinate with ground teams, external partners, and ATC authorities
  • Monitor weather conditions and assist in flight planning
  • Perform basic field troubleshooting of UAVs and ground control stations
  • Assist in training and mentoring new drone pilots as the program scales
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of SOPs and operational workflows

  • B.Tech/B.E. in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace, Aeronautical or related engineering

  • Comfort with alternate Saturday work schedule and on‑site presence
