We need a seasoned Tech Lead who also acts as a Solution Architect, designing and delivering end‑to‑end data, application, and cloud solutions for Fortune 500 clients. The role blends hands‑on coding, architecture governance, and client‑facing stakeholder management in a hybrid Toronto‑based setting.

What You'll Likely Work On

  • Design end‑to‑end data pipelines, application services, and cloud infrastructure across GCP, AWS, and Azure.
  • Lead architecture review and enterprise governance processes, delivering diagrams, specs, and decision records.
  • Own technical delivery for client engagements, handling scoping, estimation, resource planning, risk tracking, and milestones.
  • Build capacity and budget models, clearly communicating trade‑offs to leadership and clients.
  • Translate ambiguous business requests into structured workstreams with defined ownership and dependencies.
  • Write production‑grade code and SQL; debug queries, fix CI pipelines, and configure cloud networking as needed.
  • Run proofs of concept for architectural approaches, including AI/LLM and Retrieval‑Augmented Generation patterns.
  • Review code, designs, and infrastructure changes while setting engineering quality standards.
  • Act as senior technical voice in client meetings, explaining decisions, defending trade‑offs, and managing scope.
  • Coordinate with external vendors, client‑side engineering, product, and security teams across distributed locations.
