We need a senior individual contributor to architect, secure and scale HighLevel's cloud platform on GCP. The Staff Engineer will own Kubernetes, networking, IAM and edge security while driving IaC adoption and mentoring engineers.

What You'll Likely Work On

• Design and evolve GCP infrastructure for scalability, resilience and security
• Lead architectural reviews and define standards for multi‑region, high‑availability deployments
• Architect, operate and optimize production GKE clusters, including workload isolation and lifecycle management
• Design cloud networking, VPCs, firewalls, load balancing and integrate Cloudflare edge services
• Create and enforce least‑privilege IAM policies, service‑account management and just‑in‑time access
• Build secure‑by‑default patterns, partner with Cyber Security for threat modeling and remediation
• Drive Terraform‑based Infrastructure as Code, reusable modules and automated, auditable deployments
• Define disaster‑recovery strategies, RTO/RPO targets and improve incident response with SRE teams
• Identify performance and cost inefficiencies, collaborate with FinOps to optimize resource usage
• Mentor engineers, lead design reviews and influence cross‑functional teams without direct authority
