Netgear seeks a Senior QA Engineer to lead validation of advanced routing and networking products. The role owns test planning, automation, and protocol compliance across L2/L3 features while partnering with firmware, software, and hardware teams.

What You'll Likely Work On
- Design and execute test plans for L3 routing protocols on enterprise and consumer routers.
- Lead validation of WAN technologies, including PPPoE, DHCP WAN, static IP, and multi‑WAN failover.
- Develop and maintain automated test suites using Python and Robot Framework, integrated with CI/CD pipelines.
- Conduct packet‑level analysis with Wireshark/tcpdump and perform interoperability testing across multi‑vendor environments.
- Test firewall, NAT/PAT, DHCP, and DNS features across IPv4 and IPv6 to ensure protocol compliance.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and collaborate with firmware, software, and hardware teams during design reviews.
Good Fit If You Have
- Strong IPv6 experience (addressing, DHCPv6, SLAAC, dual‑stack) is a plus.
- Familiarity with VPN technologies such as IPSec, OpenVPN, or WireGuard.
- Holding networking certifications (CCNA, CCNP or equivalent).
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated regression frameworks.
- Hands‑on experience with VLAN and other L2 protocols.
