Ovii's Interpretation of the Role

We’re looking for a full‑stack software engineer to build and scale the backend and frontend of Athelas Home, an FDA‑cleared IoT blood‑diagnostics device. You’ll work with Python, Flask, React, Postgres, Kubernetes and Docker while ensuring security, reliability and regulatory compliance.

What You'll Likely Work On

• Develop and enhance backend services for the Athelas device product
• Build and maintain frontend applications for the device
• Translate product requirements into technical solutions
• Implement cybersecurity best practices throughout the software development lifecycle
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, quality and regulatory teams to meet operational, security and regulatory requirements
• Manage containerized cloud infrastructure using Docker and Kubernetes
• Ensure system stability, performance and reliability through monitoring, alerting and metrics
