Tiger Data seeks a Senior Software Engineer to own and evolve the TimescaleDB Toolkit, delivering intuitive developer tools for time‑series workloads. The role blends product discovery with hands‑on implementation in a fully remote, globally distributed team.

What You'll Likely Work On

• Define and prioritize the Toolkit’s long‑term roadmap based on emerging customer needs
• Partner with product, sales, and customers to translate real‑world workflows into developer experiences
• Design and implement new hyperfunctions and tooling that run inside PostgreSQL
• Improve testing, documentation, performance, and maintainability for production‑ready releases
• Balance rapid feature delivery with long‑term code quality and reliability
