What You'll Likely Work On

• Design and optimize Go algorithms for state diffing and drift detection across multi‑tenant API topologies.
• Architect, maintain, and evolve high‑performance Go SDKs and core libraries used by internal microservices and external clients.
• Define clean, extensible REST and gRPC API contracts for Kong’s platform runtimes.
• Build spec‑driven code‑generation pipelines (OpenAPI/AsyncAPI) to produce SDKs, client libraries and IaC definitions.
• Develop modern, fast CLI tools for developer workflows and high‑concurrency CI/CD automation.
• Create and extend reliable Terraform providers to enable seamless infrastructure‑as‑code operations.
• Integrate new runtime capabilities into the declarative management ecosystem as native API primitives.
• Mentor junior engineers, drive engineering rigor, and communicate technical decisions across global backend and platform teams.
