Ovii's Interpretation of the Role

The Senior Research Analyst – Quality will ensure Fixed Income reference data is accurate, complete, and consistent. You will validate bond attributes, corporate actions, and new issuance information while collaborating with Quality, Operations, and Technology teams.

  • Strong analytical and research skills

  • Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office
  • Fixed Income reference data operations
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, or Business Administration

What You'll Likely Work On

  • Conduct comprehensive validation of Fixed Income reference data, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
  • Validate new‑issuance bond additions, capturing all required attributes and terms.
  • Review and verify bond attributes such as coupon, maturity, day‑count, payment frequency, and call/put schedules.
  • Cross‑source data verification across prospectuses, offering memorandums, issuer filings, and market feeds.
  • Assess and validate corporate actions—including coupon changes, redemptions, and restructurings.
  • Identify data gaps or discrepancies, perform root‑cause analysis, and coordinate timely resolution or escalation.
  • Maintain clear documentation of data sources, validation procedures, and internal guidelines.
  • Partner with technology and product teams to resolve system‑related data issues and improve validation workflows.
