What You'll Likely Work On

• Define and drive the technical roadmap and architecture decisions across multiple engineering teams.
• Build, hire, and develop a high‑performing engineering organization, including career ladders and on‑call processes.
• Establish engineering rigor such as code quality standards, CI/CD practices, and incident‑response frameworks.
• Mentor engineering managers and senior individual contributors to create a strong leadership bench.
• Represent engineering in company‑wide strategic planning and provide updates to the CTO and Board.
• Implement and continuously improve agile processes, testing, and reliability metrics.
• Own platform reliability, security, and performance at scale.
• Launch new engineering functions and solve ambiguous technical and organizational challenges.
