Ovii's Interpretation of the Role

Senior Manager – Payroll leads end‑to‑end payroll operations for Nium’s global footprint, overseeing multi‑country processing, compliance, and reporting. The role partners with Finance, People Operations, Legal and Tax to ensure accurate, timely payroll and drive process automation.

Must-Have Requirements

  • Enterprise payroll or HR system experience

What You'll Likely Work On

  • Own end‑to‑end payroll processing for the US, Singapore, India and other markets
  • Maintain payroll data integrity across HRIS, payroll and finance systems with audit trails
  • Ensure compliance with jurisdiction‑specific payroll laws and statutory filings
  • Prepare payroll journal entries, accruals, GL reconciliations and month‑end close activities
  • Partner with FP&A and Accounts Payable for headcount reporting, cost analysis and vendor payments
  • Drive payroll system enhancements, new country setups, entity restructurings and M&A integrations
  • Act as primary escalation point for payroll queries, delivering timely resolutions
  • Collaborate with People Operations, Legal, Tax and regional stakeholders on compensation and benefits
