The Senior Director, Finance Systems & Applications will define and execute the strategy for Kong’s finance technology stack, building a scalable, AI‑enabled platform that supports a public‑company environment. This role owns roadmap, governance, integrations and cross‑functional partnerships to deliver reliable, compliant financial data.

What You'll Likely Work On

• Define and own the long‑term strategy and roadmap for core finance systems such as NetSuite, Celigo, Brex, Pigment and Zip
• Design, build and govern enterprise‑wide integrations with systems like Salesforce, Workday, Ashby and other business applications
• Establish best‑in‑class governance, monitoring and SOX‑compliant controls to protect data integrity and audit readiness
• Create AI‑enabled automation solutions that reduce manual effort and improve reporting accuracy
• Collaborate closely with Accounting, FP&A, Revenue Operations, HR and IT to translate business needs into scalable system solutions
• Lead finance‑systems initiatives—including implementations, upgrades, migrations and vendor evaluations—from strategy through adoption
• Operate a robust support model with defined SLAs, proactive issue resolution and strong vendor partnerships
• Continuously evaluate and simplify the finance technology landscape to enhance user experience and support growth
