The Manufacturing Engineer will design and optimize composite and metallic aircraft manufacturing processes, own the end‑to‑end workflow from drawings to delivery, and drive continuous improvement of production performance.

What You'll Likely Work On
- Create and streamline manufacturing processes for composite and metallic aircraft structures
- Own the workflow from engineering drawings and BOMs through fabrication, assembly, inspection, and delivery
- Develop composite-specific processes such as layup, tooling, curing, bonding, and trimming
- Plan production schedules and maximize utilization of machines, tooling, workshops, and technicians
- Partner with design and structures engineers to apply DFM/DFA and improve manufacturability
- Manage machine shops, composite technicians, vendors, and external manufacturing partners
- Identify and eliminate bottlenecks, rework, and quality issues
- Maintain work instructions, inspection procedures, and quality documentation while tracking lead time, yield, and throughput
Good Fit If You Have
- Experience with UAVs, general aviation, or commercial aircraft is a plus
- Comfortable operating CNC machines, ovens, and autoclaves on the shop floor
- Ability to balance speed, cost, quality, and on‑time delivery in a fast‑changing environment
