Ovii's Interpretation of the Role

The Operations Technician will maintain and troubleshoot delivery drones in the field, ensuring aircraft are flight‑ready and inventory is stocked. The role blends hands‑on mechanical/electrical repair with coordination across pilots, dispatchers, and manufacturing feedback.

Must-Have Requirements

  • Native or fluent Telugu for AP role or Kannada speaking for Bangalore role

What You'll Likely Work On

  • Perform scheduled and on‑demand maintenance on deployed drones, including battery, motor, propeller, sensor and harness checks
  • Run pre‑flight checks before every mission and log post‑flight findings, flagging any required repairs
  • Diagnose and fix mechanical, electrical, and avionics issues in the field, escalating when beyond scope
  • Manage spares, consumables and tools inventory at deployment sites and request restocks from HQ
  • Coordinate with pilots, dispatchers and flight‑ops admin to keep missions on schedule and communicate aircraft status
  • Provide repeat‑failure feedback to the manufacturing team for root‑cause remediation
  • Travel between Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka deployment sites as needed

Good Fit If You Have

  • Has an ITI/Diploma in electronics, mechanical, electrical or a related trade
  • Holds a DGCA Remote Pilot Certificate (any class)
  • Exposure to BVLOS or autonomous mission operations
  • Comfortable working outdoors in heat, dust and long days
