Ovii's Interpretation of the Role

We are looking for a Network Engineer to design, configure, secure and maintain enterprise‑grade network infrastructure. The role focuses on routing, switching, firewalls, monitoring and incident response while collaborating with cloud, DevOps and IT teams.

What You'll Likely Work On

  • Configure and manage routers, switches and firewalls across LAN, WAN and hybrid‑cloud environments
  • Implement VLANs, VPNs, QoS policies and routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP and EIGRP
  • Monitor network health with tools like SolarWinds or Nagios and resolve connectivity or performance issues
  • Apply firewall policies, ACLs and intrusion‑prevention measures to meet PCI‑DSS, HIPAA, SOX and GDPR requirements
  • Perform capacity planning, load‑balancing and high‑availability design to keep uptime ≥99.9%
  • Document topology diagrams, runbooks and change‑management records following ITIL best practices
  • Collaborate with DevOps, cloud and systems teams on VPC/VNet integrations and infrastructure projects
