The Materials & Process Engineer will research, qualify, and model composite materials for aerospace applications, building reliable databases and translating findings into repeatable manufacturing processes. Collaboration with structural design, manufacturing, and testing teams is essential to deliver production‑ready aircraft hardware.

What You'll Likely Work On

  • Research and evaluate composite materials for aircraft structures and environments.
  • Develop and characterize CFRP, GFRP, and honeycomb sandwich structures.
  • Design and execute coupon‑level material testing programs and correlate results with FEA models.
  • Create and maintain material allowables, databases, and models for structural analysis.
