The Manager, Risk Strategy will lead a growing model governance team, set the strategic direction for model risk management, and ensure regulatory compliance for financial‑services customers. This remote, US‑based role blends hands‑on technical work with cross‑functional stakeholder engagement and people‑management responsibilities.

What You'll Likely Work On

  • Lead, grow, and develop a team of 3+ data scientists and governance professionals
  • Own performance monitoring, drift monitoring, fair‑lending assessments, validation, model inventory and change management
  • Set and execute the long‑term strategy for model governance, automation and industry‑leading standards
  • Manage relationships with Data Science, Engineering, Partner Success, Sales and customer model‑risk teams
  • Conduct customer‑facing calls, guide adoption, and unblock deployments
  • Prepare validation reports, governance documentation and performance summaries for leadership, auditors and regulators
  • Track governance findings, drive remediation and balance roadmap priorities against regulatory demands
  • Perform hands‑on work when needed to advance tasks or mentor the team
