The Legal Counsel will serve as an in‑house advisor on commercial contracts, disputes, regulatory matters and insurance risk for a fast‑growing professional services firm. The role blends contract drafting, litigation support, compliance assistance and policy development while partnering with senior stakeholders across the business.

What You'll Likely Work On

  • Draft, negotiate and manage a variety of commercial agreements including client, supplier, software licensing, procurement and lease contracts.
  • Provide pragmatic legal advice to internal teams and senior management on commercial and risk issues.
  • Support engagement teams with contract queries, policy creation and improvement of legal risk frameworks.
  • Manage complaints and claims, from initial assessment through response drafting and outcome tracking.
  • Assist with contentious matters, coordinating with external counsel and internal stakeholders.
  • Contribute to litigation strategy, case preparation, document review and overall case management.
  • Respond to regulatory enquiries, investigations and third‑party requests, ensuring compliance.
  • Oversee professional indemnity insurance processes, including renewals, claim notifications and broker liaison.
  • Maintain accurate records of insurance, claims and other legal matters.
