The Growth Lead (Books) drives developer‑focused community and influencer relationships to boost the commercial performance of Packt's technical books. The role owns end‑to‑end promotion campaigns, partnership pipelines, and translates community insight into measurable sales outcomes.

What You'll Likely Work On
- Identify, approach and secure durable relationships with open‑source maintainers, conference speakers, technical bloggers and other community leaders.
- Design and execute title‑specific promotion plans, including reviewer outreach, community activations and targeted list building.
- Partner with growth, commissioning and sales teams on metadata, keyword alignment and audience‑specific messaging.
- Track and report on campaign performance—review velocity, sentiment, community engagement, and the link between activity and sales.
- Build bulk‑purchase and licensing pipelines with training providers, certification bodies, universities and other ecosystem partners.
- Activate developer communities on GitHub, Reddit, Discord, Stack Overflow and specialist forums through webinars, AMAs and expert panels.
Good Fit If You Have
- Fluent in technical communities and able to converse credibly with engineers.
- Proven track record of influencer or community‑driven growth initiatives.
- Strong written communication and public representation skills.
- Comfortable analysing Amazon metrics and campaign analytics.
- Experience planning, sequencing and measuring multi‑channel campaigns.
