Ovii's Interpretation of the Role
We need a contract HR Generalist to partner with global HR Business Partners, execute core HR programs and use AI tools to boost efficiency. The role is hybrid, based in Chennai or Bangalore, and runs for six months with possible extension.

Must-Have Requirements
- HR Generalist experience (3–5 years)
- Strong communication with employees, managers and senior leaders

- Solid knowledge of HR fundamentals (employee relations, performance management, employment law basics, HRIS)
- Collaborative instinct
- Discretion and sound judgment handling sensitive information

What You'll Likely Work On
- Partner with lead HRBPs to handle day‑to‑day HR needs and prepare business reviews
- Serve as trusted contact for employees and managers on policy, coaching and escalations
- Own end‑to‑end delivery of HR programs such as performance cycles, compensation planning, onboarding, offboarding and policy rollouts
- Use AI tools to draft communications, analyze people data and surface actionable insights
- Track open items, follow through commitments and keep HRIS data highly accurate
