Ovii's Interpretation of the Role

The Regional Financial Controller – India will own financial control, statutory reporting, regulatory finance and finance operations for Axi's India entities. The role combines strategic oversight with hands‑on execution, building processes from scratch while delivering accurate financial results. It serves as the senior finance representative for the country and will evolve into a team‑leadership position as the business scales.

What You'll Likely Work On

  • Lead end‑to‑end financial accounting for all India entities, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
  • Oversee monthly close, prepare management accounts and variance analysis for Group Finance.
  • Maintain a robust control environment aligned with Group policies and internal audit standards.
  • Establish and manage the regulatory finance framework for the new regulated entity, ensuring RBI and SEBI compliance.
  • Manage statutory audits, corporate tax filings, GST, transfer pricing and Companies Act compliance.
  • Oversee payroll statutory requirements including TDS, PF, gratuity and labour law compliance.
  • Build scalable processes for accounts payable, receivable, treasury, banking and reconciliations.
  • Lead implementation of financial systems and reporting tools within India.
