What You'll Likely Work On
- Partner with product engineering teams to discover, analyze, remediate, and validate security flaws in software, firmware, and services
- Conduct code reviews, design reviews, and vulnerability analyses as part of product security assessments
- Deploy and enhance security tooling such as SAST, SCA/OSS scanning, and CI/CD security checks
- Guide engineering groups on secure coding, defensive programming, and SSDLC best practices
- Apply modern discovery methods—including fuzzing, static analysis, and manual testing—to find issues at scale
- Monitor emerging threats, CVEs, and security trends and evaluate their impact on Netgear products
- Collaborate with senior security leaders to continuously evolve secure software development processes
