The Embedded System Engineer will design and implement firmware for high‑reliability aerospace and related platforms. The role spans low‑level drivers, real‑time software, communication stacks, and application‑level control while collaborating closely with hardware teams.

What You'll Likely Work On
- Develop firmware across driver, hardware abstraction, and application layers
- Build drivers and interfaces for sensors, actuators, ADCs, DACs, timers, and communication peripherals
- Implement and integrate CAN, CAN‑FD, SPI, I²C, UART, RS‑485, Ethernet protocols
- Create real‑time software for ARM‑based microcontrollers and processors
- Define hardware‑firmware interfaces with PCB engineers and debug board‑level issues
- Bring up new hardware, debug firmware, and validate systems on bench and integrated test setups
- Develop automated test and hardware‑in‑the‑loop environments
- Design robust architectures with fault handling, watchdogs, diagnostics, and recovery mechanisms
- Maintain firmware architecture, documentation, version control, test procedures, and release processes
