What You'll Likely Work On
- Define and execute the data platform roadmap across ingestion, transformation, storage, and access
- Set and enforce architecture standards, engineering best practices, and development patterns
- Partner with analytics, data science, and product teams to make data reliable, discoverable, and accessible
- Implement platform SLAs/SLOs, monitoring, alerting, and data‑quality frameworks
- Lead incident management, root‑cause analysis, and continuous improvement of operations
- Optimize cloud costs through performance tuning and workload governance
- Build and grow a high‑performing engineering team, handling hiring, onboarding, and career development
- Communicate platform progress, risks, and trade‑offs to senior stakeholders
