The Corporate Counsel will lead commercial contract work, corporate governance, and data‑privacy compliance for a global AI‑focused services firm. The role blends drafting, negotiation, and cross‑jurisdictional regulatory advice while partnering with finance, HR, and product teams.

What You'll Likely Work On

  • Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize vendor and commercial agreements, including SaaS and technology licensing.
  • Advise business teams on contract risk, negotiation strategy, and escalation points.
  • Manage contracts through their full lifecycle using contract management software.
  • Prepare corporate resolutions, board minutes, powers of attorney, and other governance documents for global entities.
  • Maintain corporate records, registrations, and statutory filings across India, Australia, and the United States.
  • Support data‑privacy compliance under India’s DPDP Act and applicable international frameworks (GDPR, Australian Privacy Act, US state laws).
  • Provide employment and HR legal guidance for India and cross‑jurisdictional matters.
  • Advise on IP ownership, software licensing, trademark use, and confidentiality obligations.

Good Fit If You Have

  • Strong commercial contracts experience, especially SaaS and technology licensing.
  • Hands‑on experience with corporate entity management in India, US, and Australia.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently on multiple legal matters.
