The Configuration Technician installs, configures, and validates computer hardware and operating systems for AHEAD's engineered solutions. The role focuses on hands‑on assembly, diagnostics, and troubleshooting within an onsite manufacturing environment.

What You'll Likely Work On
- Install and configure a variety of operating systems on diverse hardware platforms
- Create, configure, and verify RAID arrays
- Flash custom BIOS and firmware onto devices
- Deploy software images using the internal PXE environment
- Assemble computers from build documentation and perform visual inspections
- Run diagnostic tests with third‑party and manufacturer tools and log any discrepancies
- Troubleshoot hardware failures and coordinate with Production, Engineering, and Sales teams
- Work extended hours during peak periods and handle additional assembly‑technician duties as needed
