The Chief Payments Officer will own Nium’s global payments network strategy, P&L, and banking relationships while leading a 25‑person, multi‑continent team. What You'll Likely Work On
- Define and execute a global payments network strategy aligned with commercial and product goals
- Own the architecture for domestic collection, local disbursement, settlement accounts, and card issuance at scale
- Manage the P&L for the payments network, including pricing, partner economics, and margin optimization
- Lead the roadmap for next‑generation capabilities such as stablecoin rails and real‑time cross‑border settlement
- Build, negotiate, and expand banking relationships worldwide, acting as the primary liaison to regulators and tier‑1 institutions
- Provide operational accountability, fixing network issues swiftly and maintaining partner confidence
- Develop and coach a high‑performing team of payments specialists, fostering a culture of ownership and continuous improvement
- Strengthen risk and governance frameworks across 40+ licensed jurisdictions
