What You'll Likely Work On
- Guarantee that all financial statements meet Polish standards and IFRS where applicable
- Guide and mentor accountants and finance staff, building a motivated team environment
- Oversee preparation and filing of VAT, CIT, and other tax returns on schedule
- Own the full month‑end and year‑end closing cycle, including annual reports
- Act as the primary contact for external auditors and tax inspectors
- Provide budgeting and forecasting support with actionable insights for management
- Design, implement and continuously improve internal control frameworks
- Monitor legislative changes in tax, accounting and labor law and adapt processes accordingly
