The Certification Manager leads UAV type‑certification efforts, securing government and regulatory approvals so Airbound can expand commercial drone routes. The role partners with engineering, operations, legal and external agencies to embed compliance into product development.

What You'll Likely Work On

• Create and submit Type Certification applications for all Airbound platforms
• Own the end‑to‑end certification journey, tracking approvals and milestones
• Coordinate engineering, operations, legal and supply‑chain teams with external certification agencies
• Analyze the drone regulatory landscape and monitor policy changes
• Engage local authorities to ensure smooth flight operations
• Integrate compliance feedback into product development cycles

Good Fit If You Have

• Prior work with foreign drone regulators such as FAA or EASA
• Familiarity with aerospace quality standards (AS9100, DO‑178C, DO‑160)
• Experience liaising with certification labs like ATE or QCI
