The Backend Tech Lead at Accellor designs, builds, and maintains large‑scale distributed backend services while directly managing and mentoring a team of engineers. This hands‑on role balances technical direction, delivery execution, and people development across multiple squads.

Must-Have Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 7+ years professional software engineering experience
- Proven experience building and operating production backend systems at scale
- Demonstrated people‑leadership (directly managing engineers)
- Deep expertise in at least one major backend stack (Java/Spring Boot, Go, Python, Node.js, C#/.NET)
- Distributed systems & microservices design and operation
- API design (REST, gRPC, GraphQL)
- Message queues / event streaming (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS)
- SQL and relational database expertise
- NoSQL data modeling
- Caching tools (Redis, Memcached)
- Docker and Kubernetes
- Networking fundamentals (HTTP/HTTPS, TLS, DNS, service discovery, load balancing)
- Git/GitOps, code review, testing, CI/CD
- Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Backend security practices (OAuth2, OIDC, JWT, secrets management)
