What You'll Likely Work On
- Develop and refine manufacturing processes for aircraft structures, propulsion systems, and prototype hardware.
- Translate engineering designs into efficient assembly workflows and create work instructions, checklists, and documentation.
- Plan, schedule, and manage production runs, optimizing machine utilization, workshop layout, and technician allocation.
- Identify bottlenecks, drive continuous‑improvement initiatives, and track metrics such as lead time, yield, and rework.
- Coordinate procurement, manage supplier relationships, and ensure timely availability of materials and components.
- Implement quality control processes, conduct root‑cause analysis, and uphold engineering and manufacturing standards.
