Ovii's Interpretation of the Role

Airbound seeks a UAV Pilot to operate its hybrid VTOL drones for delivery missions across India. The role involves end‑to‑end flight execution, regulatory compliance, data logging, and coordination with ground teams and ATC.

Role Snapshot

  • Operate hybrid VTOL UAVs per SOPs
  • Conduct pre‑flight, in‑flight, and post‑flight checks
  • Ensure DGCA and internal safety compliance

  • Coordinate with ground teams, partners, and ATC

What You'll Likely Work On

  • Fly Airbound’s indigenous hybrid VTOL drones for delivery and test missions following established SOPs.
  • Perform detailed pre‑flight, in‑flight, and post‑flight inspections and document outcomes.
  • Operate in full compliance with DGCA regulations, internal safety protocols, and site‑specific restrictions.
  • Collaborate with ground crews, external partners, and air traffic control to ensure safe mission execution.
  • Record accurate flight logs, incident reports, and maintenance schedules for each aircraft.
  • Monitor weather conditions and contribute to mission planning and route optimization.
  • Troubleshoot basic UAV and ground control station issues in the field.
  • Help train and mentor incoming drone pilots as the program scales.
