Ovii's Interpretation of the Role

The Chief Compliance Officer (EMI) will own Aspora's full compliance mandate for its Lithuanian EMI licence, acting as the primary liaison with the Bank of Lithuania and advising the executive team on regulatory matters. This senior leadership role combines strategic board‑level guidance with hands‑on control testing and framework development.

What You'll Likely Work On

  • Own end‑to‑end compliance for the Lithuanian EMI, covering EMD2, PSD2, AML/CTF, sanctions and consumer protection
  • Lead all supervisory interactions with the Bank of Lithuania, including examinations and information requests
  • Design, implement and test internal compliance policies, procedures and controls
  • Conduct risk‑based thematic checks and lead remediation of identified gaps
  • Provide strategic compliance advice to the CEO, Management Board and business units on new products and market expansions
  • Create and deliver compliance training programmes and report breaches at board level
