Ovii's Interpretation of the Role

As a Full‑Stack Data Scientist on Bounce’s Pricing team, you will own and evolve the models that set prices across markets, locations and searches. You’ll partner with product, supply and growth to balance conversion, partner economics and long‑term marketplace health through data‑driven experiments and dynamic pricing logic.

What You'll Likely Work On

  • Own pricing models for every market, point‑of‑interest and store, incorporating demand, competition and partner economics
  • Design and ship dynamic pricing logic that adapts to time of day, seasonality, occupancy and local demand
  • Build search‑pricing algorithms that rank stores and set prices while balancing conversion, margin and supply fairness
  • Model the two‑sided pricing equation, measuring impact on traveler spend, partner earnings and take‑rate
  • Develop and maintain analytics pipelines, dashboards and forecasts for key operational metrics
  • Run causal experiments (geo holdouts, switchbacks, A/B) and translate findings into rollout decisions
  • Define and measure promotions, discounts and incentives with clean incrementality read‑outs
  • Partner with product, supply and growth teams to translate insights into actionable pricing strategies

Good Fit If You Have

  • Experience building pricing or revenue‑management systems in a consumer marketplace, travel/hospitality, ride‑share or e‑commerce context
