We need a senior data engineer to lead GCP‑based data modernization, building secure, high‑performance pipelines and migration solutions. The role blends hands‑on development with technical leadership and cross‑team collaboration.

What You'll Likely Work On

• Define and execute migration strategies from on‑prem or other clouds to GCP with zero data loss
• Build and orchestrate complex pipelines using Cloud Data Fusion and Cloud Composer
• Tune BigQuery schemas, partitioning, clustering, and materialized views for efficiency
• Own the transformation layer with Dataform, ensuring version‑controlled, testable SQL models
• Apply enterprise‑grade security controls and manage GCP networking for safe data transit
• Serve as the technical liaison to the BI team, translating data logic into reporting metrics
• Partner with cloud architects on VPC, subnets, firewalls, and Private Service Connect
• Guide junior engineers, lead technical sprint planning, and promote best practices

Good Fit If You Have
