What You'll Likely Work On

• Design and evolve platform architecture for healthcare and payment products, covering service boundaries, data modeling, API contracts, and scalability.
• Implement HIPAA‑grade and PCI‑aware designs, including encryption, tokenization, audit logging, and access controls.
• Select and configure cloud infrastructure, containers, orchestration, IaC, and secrets management.
• Make high‑impact technical decisions (build vs buy, monolith vs services, sync vs event‑driven) and defend them with evidence.
• Establish engineering standards, reference architectures, and reusable patterns across the studio’s products.
• Integrate AI tools into the development workflow and guide AI‑native system design.
• Provide technical mentorship and influence senior engineers without formal reporting lines.

Good Fit If You Have

• Proven track record of owning end‑to‑end system design in production.
• Deep hands‑on experience with the MERN stack and ability to code in Node.js/React.
• Strong cloud architecture expertise on at least one major provider (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Experience designing compliant systems in regulated domains (HIPAA, PCI‑DSS).
• Comfort making irreversible decisions and communicating them effectively to teams.
