The General Counsel will own Wormhole Labs' legal function, shaping regulatory strategy, corporate structure, and commercial agreements across crypto and fintech markets. This senior legal leader partners directly with engineering, product, finance and business development in a remote‑first environment.

What You'll Likely Work On
- Define and execute regulatory strategy for US agencies (SEC, CFTC, FinCEN, OFAC) and key international regulators (MiCA, FCA, MAS).
- Lead M&A, strategic investments, financings and joint‑venture transactions.
- Draft, negotiate and operationalize the full commercial contract stack, including customer, partner, vendor and protocol agreements.
- Provide counsel on global employment matters, from offer letters to immigration and separation policies.
- Set IP strategy, manage open‑source licensing posture and maintain the trademark portfolio.
- Run litigation, regulatory inquiries and enforcement actions, selecting and overseeing outside counsel while controlling spend.
- Advise on privacy, data protection and sanctions compliance across product surfaces.
- Structure and maintain corporate architecture across multiple domestic and offshore entities.
